Description
The Medical Assistant II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. The role performs all Medical Assistant I duties and is expected to be fully competent in the clinical needs of the assigned clinic or location. Required qualifications include accredited medical assistant training or an apprenticeship, two years of United States Armed Forces medical training, or one year of medical assistant experience with specified clinical skills, plus Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire, National Provider BLS certification within 30 days, six months of healthcare experience, and six months of medical assistant experience.
