Project Renewal is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for its Primary Care Clinic program. The role is based in a mobile medical van serving multiple sites across New York City and requires 35 hours per week from Monday through Friday. The Medical Assistant will provide on-site nursing services, obtain vital signs, perform EKGs and other clinical tests, assist with examinations, conduct screenings, process phlebotomy and CLIA-waived lab specimens, prepare examination supplies, and travel to cover locations as needed. Medical Assistant certification is required, while experience with homeless individuals, Microsoft Office, and electronic medical records is preferred.
