Description
The Medical Assistant provides ambulatory medical care in a clinical setting, manages patient flow, records vital signs, assists physicians with examinations and procedures, explains testing procedures, and administers medications after demonstrated competency. The role requires a high school diploma, graduation from a Medical Assistant school, Medical Assistant certification and registration, and current basic CPR/AED certification, along with the ability to perform physical tasks in a healthcare environment.
