Temple University's Student Health Services Department is hiring a full-time, on-site Medical Assistant-Student Health to support physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses in a primary care outpatient student health practice. The role includes patient reception, vital signs, charting, appointment scheduling, health education, patient-flow control, specimen preparation, CLIA-waived laboratory testing, injections, screenings, and coordination of referrals and outreach. The position is primarily based at Main Campus Student Health Services but may be assigned to the Health Science Center or another campus site. A high school diploma and completion of a Certified Medical Assistant Program are required; 2–3 years of medical assistant experience is preferred. The salary range is $40,000–$47,000, with medical, dental, vision, paid time off, holidays, tuition remission, and a retirement plan.
