Description
AltaMed is hiring a Medical Assistant II to support direct patient care and clinical operations at an assigned clinic, Patient Service Center, or Patient Registry team. The role includes routine patient care procedures, technical and clerical support, EHR documentation, patient communication, administrative process feedback, and mentoring or training other Medical Assistants. A Medical Assistant certificate and high school diploma or equivalent are required; at least one year of outpatient back-office Medical Assistant experience, phlebotomy certification, national Medical Assistant certification, bilingual ability, and valid BLS certification are preferred or required as specified.
