Description
AltaMed Health Services Corp. is hiring a Medical Assistant II to support patient care and clinical operations at an assigned clinic, Patient Service Center, or Patient Registry team. The role performs routine patient-care procedures, technical and clerical support, EHR documentation, patient communication, and back-office process support, while also mentoring and training other Medical Assistants. A Medical Assistant certificate and high school diploma or equivalent are required; at least one year of outpatient/back-office Medical Assistant experience, phlebotomy certification, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification, bilingual language ability, and BLS certification are specified as preferred or required qualifications. Compensation is $26.00–$30.55 per hour, with medical, dental, and vision insurance among the benefits.
