Description
AltaMed is hiring a Medical Assistant II to serve as a patient-facing ambassador in a clinic, patient service center, or Patient Registry team. The role performs routine direct patient care, technical and clerical clinical support, EHR documentation, patient communication, and back-office process feedback, while also mentoring and training Medical Assistants. Patient Service Center assignments may include telephone duties. The position requires a Medical Assistant certificate and high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of preferred back-office outpatient experience, valid BLS certification, and preferred phlebotomy, national certification, and bilingual language skills.
