Description
AltaMed is hiring a Medical Assistant II to serve as an ambassador at an assigned clinic, patient service center, or Patient Registry team. The role provides routine direct patient care, technical and clerical clinical support, patient intake and relationship-building, EHR documentation, administrative process feedback, and mentoring/training for other Medical Assistants. Patient Service Center assignments may also include telephone duties. The position requires a Medical Assistant certificate and high school diploma or equivalent, valid BLS certification, and preferably at least one year of outpatient back-office Medical Assistant experience, phlebotomy certification, national certification, and bilingual language skills.
