Description
AltaMed Health Services Corp. is hiring a Medical Assistant III to provide direct patient care and technical and clerical support in a clinic setting. The role includes administering injections and oral medications, performing skin tests, venipunctures, and skin punctures for blood specimens, within the regulatory scope of practice. A high school diploma or GED, Medical Assistant diploma, valid BLS certification, and at least four years of experience are required or preferred as specified; California phlebotomist licensure, experience with frail or elderly patients, and bilingual ability are preferred. Compensation is $27.25–$32.02 per hour, with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
