Description
The Medical Assistant provides ambulatory medical care in dermatology, cardiology, endo/rheumatology, neurology, and urology. Responsibilities include clinic patient flow, room assignment, patient accompaniment, vital-sign collection, electronic medical-record entry, assisting with examinations and procedures, medical-history taking, testing and screening, medication-dosage calculation, and administering medications. The role requires a high school diploma, Medical Assistant school graduation, Medical Assistant certification and registration, and current basic CPR/AED certification.
