Description
The Medical Assistant provides administrative and clinical support in primary care, including patient interviews, medical history taking, vital signs, blood draws, specimen processing, vaccine administration, injections, point-of-care testing, equipment setup, examination preparation, order follow-up, patient education, and paperwork. The role is full time, benefits eligible, and scheduled Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with rotating late-night shifts until 6:30 p.m., and rotating Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Westerville, Ohio. A high school diploma or equivalent and graduation from a Medical Assistant program or completion of Licensed Practical Nurse training in Ohio are required, while MA certification is preferred.
