Description
The Medical Assistant provides ambulatory OB/GYN care by managing clinic patient flow, assisting patients and physicians, obtaining vital signs, maintaining electronic medical records, performing diagnostic and screening procedures, explaining test procedures, calculating medication dosages, and administering medications. The role requires a high school diploma, graduation from a Medical Assistant school, Medical Assistant certification and registration, and current CPR/AED certification. Full-time and per-diem opportunities are available in the OB/GYN specialty area.
