Description
The Medical Assistant supports dermatology physicians by rooming patients, documenting histories and visit details, assisting with dermatological and cosmetic procedures, administering local anesthesia, removing sutures, maintaining sterile techniques, scribing, processing prescriptions and prior authorizations, coordinating pathology samples, operating specialized equipment, and maintaining examination rooms. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 0–3 years of medical assistant experience preferably in dermatology, Microsoft Office proficiency, strong attention to detail, communication and teamwork skills, and willingness to travel to all locations.
