Description
The Medical Assistant provides clinical and clerical support to providers and patient-care teams, including back-office and patient-related tasks, workflow support, patient education, and implementation of medical plans of care. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a California Medical Board–consistent medical assisting course or equivalent on-the-job training, Basic Life Support certification, and one year of recent relevant experience. It is a full-time, regular, non-exempt position with rotating weekends, and pays $33.66 to $47.12 per hour.
