Description
OnPoint Medical Group is hiring a Medical Assistant Supervisor for its Parker Square family medicine practice. The role combines medical assistant duties with direct supervision of the Medical Assistant team, including scheduling, hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, onboarding, electronic medical record follow-up, and compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA standards. The position typically works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with varying hours and possible Saturday work. It requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, at least three years of Medical Assistant experience, current BLS certification, and strong computer skills; CMA certification, EMR experience, IV certification, bilingual ability, and Athenahealth experience are preferred.
