Description
The Medical Assistant supports physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff in a surgical center by assisting with patient preparation, pre- and post-operative activities, vital signs, documentation, patient flow, procedure-room readiness, and clinical and administrative tasks. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, medical terminology knowledge, EHR and computer skills, and the ability to follow infection-control, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements.
