Adventist Health Castle is hiring a Medical Assistant in Training in Kailua to participate in an 18-week program combining lectures, in-person labs, independent study, competency examinations, skills checks, and clinical hours with a preceptor. The role may perform non-invasive, routine technical support services under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider and includes duties such as setting up exam rooms, checking in patients, maintaining patient records, obtaining vital signs, reporting findings, performing venipunctures, and conducting audiometry and vision testing. Applicants must have a high school education or GED and Basic Life Support certification.
