Description
The Medical Assistant supports providers with patient evaluation, examination, treatment, triage, scheduling, referrals, medication refills, procedures, laboratory and point-of-service testing, injections, and follow-up. The role also handles phone and email communications, maintains exam rooms and office supplies, performs equipment calibration, and follows HIPAA and clinical guidelines. It reports to the Office Manager and Practice Manager, requires CPR certification, and prefers two years of family practice or specialty experience.
