Description
The Medical Billing Clerk will support the coordination of billing, scheduling, intake, and quality-assurance functions for an at-home care agency. Responsibilities include maintaining patient schedules, verifying Medicaid and managed-care eligibility, requesting medical records and authorizations, conducting chart audits, monitoring call dashboards, documenting missed visits, notifying clients and supervisors of service changes, and assisting caregivers with clock-in and clock-out issues. The role requires at least one year of medical billing experience or exposure, computer documentation skills, communication skills, basic mathematics, data-entry experience, and the ability to manage time and assess performance. Compensation is $41,600–$44,000 annually, with medical, vision, life, and dental insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, and biweekly direct deposit.
