Description
The Medical Center Representative supports the business office of a medical center by serving as the first point of contact for patients, handling daily scheduling, incoming calls, patient registration, billing and collection, referrals, and customer service. The role processes 20 or more patients per day, manages sensitive medical, financial, and personal information, and operates under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with two to three years of ambulatory health care experience, medical terminology knowledge, HIPAA knowledge, computer and keyboarding skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
