Description
CarolinaEast Health System is hiring a remote Medical Coder to review, abstract, and assign accepted medical and surgical codes for inpatient and outpatient diagnoses, procedures, and services. The role requires North Carolina residency, compliance with applicable coding regulations, AHIMA or AAPC certification, at least two years of coding experience, and knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, HCPCS/CPT, coding guidance, APC, and/or MS-DRG systems. The position is remote but must be performed by a North Carolina resident.
