Description
Performs inpatient and outpatient medical record coding and abstracting, selecting diagnoses, procedures, principal and secondary diagnoses, present-on-admission indicators, discharge disposition, and DRG-related data. The role uses official coding guidelines and references, conducts physician queries, supports compliant documentation and data reporting, manages multiple assignments independently, and may guide team members. The schedule is fully remote with flexible hours on Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
