TEKsystems is hiring a fully remote Medical Coder for a 1-2-year contract based out of Arlington, Texas, with work limited to candidates living in the United States. The role reviews emergency department medical records and assigns ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier codes; determines E/M levels; analyzes documentation; applies coding guidelines and payer requirements; and supports audits, quality reviews, and process improvement. Candidates need at least two years of medical coding experience, ideally handling 100+ charts per day, and an active CPC certification. The pay range is $28.00-$30.00 per hour, with potential medical, dental, vision, retirement, insurance, and other benefits.
