The Medical Coding Coordinator reviews medical records and clinical documentation to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and other applicable coding systems. The role supports coding accuracy, documentation quality, audits, database maintenance, regulatory compliance, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors. Candidates must hold CCS, CRC, or CPC certification and have experience with ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, electronic medical records, and chart interpretation; the position requires 40 scheduled weekly hours and offers a starting base pay of $40,000 to $52,300 per year.
