Description
The Medical Coding Team Lead supports the day-to-day operations of the Medical Coding Department by coordinating workflows, monitoring queues and productivity metrics, resolving operational issues, providing technical guidance and mentorship, supporting training and quality initiatives, and ensuring compliance with coding standards and payer requirements. The role serves as a liaison between coding staff and management, escalates performance or compliance concerns, and maintains confidentiality of protected health information.
