Description
The Medical Controller – MD Management / G-DRG / Coding will independently prepare, support, and follow up Medical Review Board audits, handle review mandates, prepare medical statements, analyze MD results, optimize medical documentation and coding, advise physicians and nursing staff on billing matters, ensure correct ICD, OPS, and German coding, analyze service performance data, and participate in process development. The role requires a degree in medicine, health economics, or health management or comparable healthcare training, several years of acute-care hospital medical controlling experience, MD review and hospital billing-law knowledge, G-DRG and coding expertise, hospital-information-system and MS Office skills, and strong analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities. Compensation is based on the TVöD collective agreement, with professional development and additional benefits offered.
