Description
The Medical Coordination Specialist provides medical coordination, medication administration, appointment support, documentation, and residential habilitation services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities at a residential site. The role includes coordinating with residential nurses, maintaining medication supplies, supporting personal care and daily living activities, assisting with transportation, and supervising people supported. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid New York State driver’s license, English communication ability, and the ability to obtain AMAP, SCIP, CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications; one year of experience with the developmentally disabled population is preferred. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with 40 hours indicated.
