Description
The Medical Director provides primary medical care and treatment to residents of the Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, plans and directs medical policies and programs, coordinates 24-hour medical coverage, and leads the medical department. The role includes assessing residents, diagnosing conditions, developing care plans, reviewing records, maintaining clinical documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, participating in quality improvement, supervising medical providers, and supporting nursing staff. The position requires an MD or DO degree, 5–10 years of long-term care managerial experience, a valid New Hampshire physician license, malpractice insurance, and CPR/BLS certification.
