Description
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs routine and complex laboratory testing, evaluates specimens, operates and troubleshoots instrumentation, prepares and evaluates reagents and controls, documents quality-control and preventive-maintenance procedures, and reports accurate test results. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant science or clinical laboratory field, 5–7 years of clinical laboratory testing experience, a state medical technologist license where applicable, and proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems. The position may require overtime or other shifts and requires passing a standardized color vision screen.
