Description
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs routine and complex specimen testing, operates and troubleshoots laboratory instrumentation, prepares and evaluates reagents and controls, documents preventive maintenance and quality control, and reports accurate test results. The role requires an associate degree in a relevant science or meeting applicable CLIA and state requirements, 1–2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience, computer proficiency, attention to detail, communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Overtime or other shifts may be required.
