Description
The Medical Laboratory Technician performs routine, moderate, and highly complex laboratory diagnostic tests on blood, tissue, and other bodily fluids; confirms results; maintains quality control; troubleshoots laboratory equipment; uses laboratory and hospital information systems; and supports training, inventory control, and continuing education. The role requires medical laboratory certification or eligibility, an associate degree or equivalent accredited training, and preferably two years of clinical laboratory experience.
