Description
The Medical Laboratory Technician processes, analyzes, and reports laboratory results in the Chemistry, Hematology & Blood Bank department with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include quality control monitoring, computer applications, instrumentation troubleshooting, and specimen collection and processing. The role offers rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and is available at the Beaver or Sewickley campus locations. An associate degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician Program or related field is required, or the candidate may be a grandfathered HVHS MLT as of June 2004; MLT (ASCP) certification is preferred.
