Description
The Donor Center Technician I evaluates donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis procedures, reviews medical histories and immunization records, documents donor information in NexLynk, monitors adverse reactions, consults with the Licensed Physician, counsels deferred donors, and supports compliance with SOPs, cGMP, FDA, CLIA, and other regulatory requirements. The role also includes limited emergency care, donor management-system work, quality-assurance backup duties, and training new medical professionals. Candidates must graduate from a recognized healthcare-related program, hold a current state license or certification, have CPR certification, and possess authorization for moderate-complexity testing; one year of hospital, field-care, or plasma-center experience is preferred.
