Description
The Donor Center Technician I evaluates donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, reviews and documents donor information and test results, monitors adverse reactions, counsels deferred donors, and supports immunization, regulatory, quality, and compliance activities. The role also provides limited emergency care, trains new medical professionals, and serves as a QA backup. Candidates need a recognized healthcare-related education, a current state license or certification, CPR certification, and authorization for moderate-complexity testing; one year of hospital, field-care, or plasma-center experience is preferred.
