Description
The Donor Center Technician I evaluates donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis procedures, reviews medical histories and immunization records, documents donor information in NexLynk, monitors adverse reactions, counsels deferred donors, and supports compliance with SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP requirements. The role also provides limited emergency care, trains new medical professionals, and serves as a QA backup. Candidates must graduate from a recognized healthcare-related program, hold a current state license or certification, have CPR certification, and possess authorization for moderate-complexity testing; one year of hospital, field-care, or plasma-center experience is preferred.
