Description
The Donor Center Technician I evaluates donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis procedures, reviews medical histories and immunization records, documents donor information in NexLynk, monitors adverse reactions, consults with the Licensed Physician, counsels deferred donors, and supports compliance with SOPs, cGMP, FDA, CLIA, and other regulatory requirements. The role also includes training new medical professionals, serving as a QA backup, and performing moderate-complexity testing. Candidates must hold a recognized healthcare credential, a current state license or certification, CPR certification, and authorization for moderate-complexity testing; one year of hospital, field-care, or plasma-center experience is preferred.
