Description
The Medical Scheduling Coordinator supports clinical, technical, and clerical scheduling activities in a clinic, including patient registration, expediting, telephone triage, EHR work-list and chart maintenance, filing, rooming patients, surgery scheduling, pre-authorization and pre-certification, and coordination of off-site procedures. The role also maintains relationships with patients, family members, visitors, and employees, and requires physical ability to work for up to eight hours per day.
