The Neurology Department of Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine is hiring a full-time, onsite Medical Social Worker for its Neurodegenerative Disease Program. The role assesses clients and families, coordinates multidisciplinary care, assists with insurance, benefits, government registration, medical-necessity documentation, community resources, emotional support, and follow-up, and participates in outreach and educational projects. Candidates need a master’s degree in social work and at least two years of related experience; bilingual ability and neurodegenerative-disease experience are preferred. The position pays the PTEA Union Rate (V18) of $34.76 and includes medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, holidays, tuition remission, and a retirement plan.
