Eagle Integrated Services, LLC is seeking a Medical Specimen Processing Assistant to receive, process, verify, accession, label, store, thaw, and ship medical specimens from various agencies. The role includes tracking IATA shipping discrepancies, entering specimen and patient data into USAFSAM/PHE Laboratory Information System, delivering specimens to laboratory sections, processing outside-reference-laboratory shipments, and preparing shipping supplies. Mandatory qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, typing ability of at least 30 words per minute, basic medical terminology knowledge, at least one year of experience handling and accessioning medical laboratory specimens, and the ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
