The Universitätsklinikum Essen is hiring a full-time, permanent Medical Technical Assistant (MTL) / Biotechnical Assistant (BTA) for its Institute of Neuropathology. The role performs independent molecular biological analyses, cell culture, histological section preparation, immunohistochemistry, mouse genotyping, data collection, and general laboratory operations. Applicants need completed vocational training as MTL or BTA, several years of experience in molecular or protein biochemistry, extensive experience with DNA, RNA, protein isolation, real-time PCR, Western blot, ELISA, cell culture, histology, and immunohistochemistry, and Office proficiency.
