LifeLine is hiring a Medicar Driver to safely transport wheelchair patients between medical facilities and homes. The role includes loading and unloading patients, using GPS, completing trip documentation, maintaining and cleaning the wheelchair van, reporting mechanical issues, following patient-care protocols and HIPAA, and interacting respectfully with patients, families, escorts, and facility staff. Applicants must be at least 21, hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record, consent to a criminal background check, attend a three-day orientation, and be able to lift up to 75 pounds and push or pull a wheelchair carrying at least 250 pounds.
