Description
The Medicare/MDS Coordinator works under the Director of Nursing Services to coordinate Medicare/MDS resident assessments and ensure timely completion by the Interdisciplinary Team. The role also supports plan-of-care development, nursing interventions, infection-control and safety procedures, emergency measures, documentation, meetings, and resident-rights compliance. It requires current RN licensure, English communication skills, administrative and organizational ability, and preferably CPR certification, 1–2 years of long-term-care nursing experience, and supervisory experience.
