Description

The Medication Administration Program (MAP) Director - Rest Homes will oversee the Medication Administration Program for Massachusetts Department of Public Health Level IV Rest Homes, ensuring compliance with DPH regulations, coordinating with administrators, nursing directors, vendors, and other stakeholders, and providing technical assistance. The role also manages MAP training, testing, certification, recertification, data analysis, Medication Occurrence Reporting, and related regulatory processes. Applicants must be registered nurses with substantial hospital, clinic, or medical-facility experience, including supervisory, administrative, or managerial experience, and must hold current Massachusetts professional nurse registration.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least four years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience as a registered nurse in a recognized hospital, clinic, or medical facility
At least two years of experience in a supervisory, administrative, or managerial capacity
Current and valid registration as a professional nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications: At least six years of full-time paid experience as a registered nurse, with at least three years in applied clinical or administrative capacity
