Description
The Medication Technician provides comprehensive assistive care to residents in an assisted-living community, including medication administration, medication-cart management, health-condition documentation, activities support, behavior management, communication, resident rights, confidentiality, and housekeeping assistance. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, current or obtainable First Aid and/or CPR training, valid Medication Technician certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days, at least one year of senior-care experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to obtain a Sheriffs Work Card. The position involves standing and walking for 6–8 hours and requires the ability to lift and transfer residents.
