Holycode is hiring a Medior/Senior Backend Engineer (Java/Spring Boot) for a full-time engagement on its Neon fintech project. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining production-grade backend services with Java 21, Spring Boot 3, REST APIs, and Kubernetes; owning components from design through production; improving CI/CD pipelines; using observability tools; collaborating with engineering and product teams; influencing architecture; and mentoring other engineers. The position requires extensive production Java experience, backend and distributed-systems knowledge, SQL and microservices expertise, CI/CD familiarity, English fluency, and willingness to work in Belgrade at least two days per week in a hybrid model.
