Description
The Melt Pourer transports molten iron from the Melt Department to pouring locations using a fork truck or air hoist, pours metal into molds, monitors flow rate and temperature, coordinates with the melter, and reports pouring issues. The role requires prior experience as a Melter, Melt Pourer, Melt Furnace Operator, or Furnace Operator, physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift, and the ability to work in hot, smoky, and dusty conditions while wearing PPE.
