Description
The role delivers metal to specifications safely, accurately, and on time; keeps furnaces full; cleans furnaces and ladles; provides ground charge and accurate alloy weights; operates delivery equipment such as overhead cranes, excavators, skid-steers, and forklifts; and performs repairs and preparation for the next production day. The position works indoors and outdoors year-round, requires elevated furnace maintenance with fall protection, provides proper PPE, and follows a Monday-Thursday 03:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. schedule with Fridays as needed. Preferred experience includes mechanical work, forklift operation, and foundry machinery use. The stated salary is 18.00 per hour.
