Description
The Member Experience Ambassador serves as the primary member-facing representative at In-Shape Fitness clubs, welcoming and supporting members and guests, explaining fitness options, assisting with FitStart and mobile app onboarding, giving club tours, recommending retail products, handling membership changes and member concerns, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, and monitoring pool and slide areas when applicable. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, fitness and sales experience, strong communication and customer service skills, flexible evening, weekend, and holiday availability, and current or obtainable CPR certification; first aid training is required only at clubs with pool slides. The position pays $16.90 per hour and includes a free health club membership, retail discounts, professional development opportunities, and a 401(k) savings plan.
