Description
Maritime Fusion is hiring a Plasma Physicist to design, simulate, and help build marine deployable tokamaks. The role involves running plasma and machine simulations, exploring divertor concepts and operational scenarios, conducting system-level tradeoff studies, developing simulation workflows, and collaborating with academic and government laboratories. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or M.S. in plasma physics, nuclear engineering, applied physics, or a similar field, experience modeling tokamaks or similar fusion devices, and strong coding and engineering fundamentals. Compensation is $120,000–$200,000 per year plus equity and bonuses.
