NTT DATA AIVista is hiring a Member of Technical Staff - Science I to advance enterprise AI research and translate research into production systems. The role covers large language models, multimodal AI, intelligent agents, graph machine learning, knowledge representation, safety, alignment, evaluation, and neurosymbolic methods. Responsibilities include defining research bets, developing algorithms and prototypes, designing evaluations, partnering with engineering on deployment and monitoring, and leading publications and external research activities. The position is hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area or Bellevue, Washington, requires a relevant PhD and at least five years of AI or machine learning experience, and offers a base salary of $300,000-$400,000 USD plus variable compensation.
